Abu is an AI Applied Scientist Tech Lead at Microsoft in the Office of the CTO (MAIDAP), where he builds LLM agents and multi-agent systems for Microsoft 365.
His work includes leading Microsoft’s first corporate multi-agent system (CorpGen), pioneering a proactive Teams research agent (Meeting Knowledge Brain), and co-leading Agent-as-a-Judge research presented at MLADS. He previously was an Amazon Robotics Day One Fellow and Robotics Fellow, and holds a BS in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
